Education: BS in Marketing, Advertising or related field, 5+ years’ experience in client facing role in agency or client environment, with digital/interactive/integrated marketing experience preferred


Defero is a digital marketing agency with offices located in Phoenix and Reno. We help brands create meaningful offline and online conversations with their customers. Our current client roster includes local, regional, national and publicly traded entities across a wide spectrum of industry verticals. We are seeking an Account Manager who not only can act as a primary client contact within the agency, but who also understands complex integrated digital marketing strategies. Reporting to the Senior Account Director, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day projects and maintaining strong client relationships. Above all else, this position requires impeccable communication, a strategic vision, and the ability to lead others. You are timely, responsive, flexible and accountable. You are the liaison between the client and the internal teams of digital strategists, designers, and developers. You are an account management rock star.


  • Maintain a strong client relationship and manage all aspects of their multifaceted, integrated digital marketing campaigns
  • Balance multiple clients at any given time
  • Identify clear digital marketing KPIs and work with internal teams to develop the best product mix/strategic approach to leverage in meeting/exceeding client expectations
  • Broad knowledge of all aspects of brand development and digital marketing including SEO, PPC, website development, email & social media
  • Contributes in shaping strategy, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue and drive new business growth
  • Attend client meetings/calls on behalf of or in partner to Senior Account Director or other members of the account team
  • Contribute to internal/external documentation (Instructional documents, proposals, etc.) as required
  • Work with clients, Ecosystem partners and internal teams in a professional and timely manner
  • Ability to multitask to manage multiple clients and multiple projects within approved schedules
  • Continuous knowledge improvement of the digital landscape through self-education, research and development
  • Accountability; desire to take responsibility for yourself, your team, and the company


  • Working knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, website development, mobile app, email & social media)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills to understand performance analytics and interpret data into meaningful insight/actionable next steps
  • Wicked awesome organizational skills
  • Capacity to lead or operate with a certain level of autonomy when necessary

  • BS in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in an account management role in a digital marketing agency or client environment
