The Ask

One day to shine

Alterna was selected for Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty campaign, and we were tasked with creating a high-impact hair moment: a one-day, 50% off Replenishing Moisture & Bond Repair Haircare offer on September 16.

 

OUR STRATEGY

A LITTLE TEASE GOES A LONG WAY

To maximize impact for our one-day sale, we launched teaser ads across Meta and TikTok with urgency-driven messaging to build anticipation and demand.

On the day of the event, creative was refreshed with bold “TODAY ONLY” callouts to heighten urgency, improve ad recall, and drive immediate action.

ELEVATED RESULTS

This campaign performed well above it’s original forecast, ranking #9 in total sales volume overall and #6 in percent above FC in the hair category.
